What amazing looks Mother Nature gave this spectacular piece
of land. After a slow start connecting
to the techno world and moving to Lower Pines we went exploring. Our first hike was the steep 4 mile round
trip to Vernal Falls. Being spring all
the snow had been melting off the mountains creating the most spectacularly
powerful water falls. Ryan needed
convincing to go to the top and we didn't regret digging it in for a few extra
miles when we saw the views from up there.
That evening through lack of cork screw we met Stacey and Dillon a young couple from Ventura, CA.
They invited us over for s’mores later in the evening, having heard and
already attempted to make our own s’mores in Napa that was all it took to
entice us over. If you haven’t heard of
a s’more b’fore it’s a campfire toasted marshmallow squidged between two
graham (pronounced gram in an American accent) with a piece of Hershey's chocolate. They are a traditional American
campfire treat and very s’morish!
